Did you know that most of the sauces we buy from supermarkets today are packed with water, vinegar, refined sugar, unnatural flavouring and thickening agents? When we started paying attention to what ingredients are present in our foods, we were amazed. I mean, we had trouble spelling some of the elements, let alone knowing what they were or why they were in our food. Luckily, we had our allotment and a lot of fresh produce we could put to good use. So, armed with a family recipe, we got to work on my first test batch of our Original Hot Pepper Sauce. Friends and family were going crazy about the stuff, but look we got it, they are our friends and family, so of course, they're going to tell us it's great. It wasn't until we were asked by a friend to do a Christmas pop up in a local office block that we understood that we had something special. We made 100 bottles for this pop-up and had no idea we would sell that many, but we went with it anyway. So many people were tasting and purchasing the sauce. It was going great and more than we expected, but then we received what at the time, we thought was a strange request. After tasting the sauce, someone requested 100 bottles. We told him we couldn’t do that many as we only have 71 left". He replied, "no problem" I'll take 71. After the transaction, we asked him what he was going to do with 71 bottles of Hot Sauce. He replied, "I'm going to send these to my clients as gifts for Christmas." At that moment, I thought, wow. If he trusts our product that much to send to his clients, my family and friends weren't lying. That's when the brand was born. Fast forward two years, and we now have 15 sauces ranging from mild to wild. We only use organic ingredients, and if we need to thicken one of our sauces, we add more fruits or vegetables. All our sauces can be used to dip, pour, glaze or marinade. Our mission is to make the highest quality products each and every time.
