About Spina Bifida Association of Greater New England

The Spina Bifida Association of Greater New England ("SBAGNE") is a 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to build a better and brighter future for all those impacted by Spina Bifida. SBAGNE serves individuals with Spina Bifida, (prenatal through the life span) their families and caregivers in New England. In alignment with the Strategic Plan the following is provided: a full time Executive Director, part time, Operations Manager; advocacy; educational and social events for parents of young children, tweens( ages 7-12) , teens( ages 13-16) and youth and adults( 17 +); fundraising activities with Team SBAGNE participation in the Walk-N_Roll, Falmouth Road Race, and Tour de South Shore; outreach efforts to medical offices and Spina Bifida clinics, as well as participation in public awareness events; availability of financial benefits to SBAGNE constituents, including a annual financial benefit; a New England Spina Bifida Conference; and an annual Jean Driscoll Award for an individual with Spina Bifida.
