Carbon capture is increasingly recognised as a critical technology for achieving net zero emissions. Even with rapid deployment of renewable energy, industries such as cement, steel, refining, and chemicals will continue to emit large volumes of carbon dioxide for decades to come. Post-combustion carbon capture (PCC) offers a practical solution: it can be added to existing plants, allowing CO₂ emissions to be cut without replacing entire facilities. But PCC today is expensive. The equipment is large, the energy demand is high, and the economics rarely stack up without strong subsidies. At SpiroPak, our mission is to change that equation. By rethinking the internals of the capture process — the structured packing inside the absorption and stripping columns — we are creating a path to capture CO₂ at the lowest possible cost.
