Spitting Image Catering was established by Mark Longmuir in 1989 with the intention of bringing a fresh and original approach to the Melbourne Spit Roast and BBQ catering scene. Spitting Image Catering is recognised in the corporate and private sector as a quality food business with an outstanding reputation for consistency, customer service and value for money. Mark is actively involved with the daily operations of the business and oversees the kitchen operations and many of the events onsite . Mark completed a Diploma of Catering and Management at William Angliss College and was then trained at the Hyatt Hotel in the fine dining room for 3 years whilst establishing the business . Mark's next appointment was at the iconic Walters Wine Bar for 2 years then he purchased a Cafe in South Yarra to call home for Spitting image Catering The workforce of Spitting Image is carefully chosen, well trained and comprises over 10 employees, which are located at the Blackburn North head office, warehouse and catering kitchen Spitting Image regularly caters for many of the Top 500 corporations, government departments, schools, clubs and various private individuals.
