About Splash Dance Swimming Academy

Splash Dance Swimming Academy began is 2015 with a class of 6 swimmers at Ashfield School, since then we have introduced lessons for babies and pre-schoolers, adults, and aqua fitness classes and currently have over 200 swimmers attend each week. Our water based teaching and small class sizes ensure children can gain confidence and are able to progress quickly through the STA award scheme, where you can track their progress through the STA's International Learn to Swim Programme as they gain awards in swimming and water safety skills. Lessons are taught in a positive and fun learning environment and we believe that children should be given lots of encouragement and praise so that they can learn to love the water. We don't use traditional armbands as they can alter their body position and slow down their learning, instead we use woggles and floats and encourage lots of splashing, laughter and fun while still maintaining high standards of teaching. Our parent and child lessons have no more than 8 pairs per class and are suitable from children age 8 weeks and above. They are full of fun, singing and games and are a stimulating environment for any baby or toddler. We also run water fitness classes, these classes are high energy and fun for all. The classes focus on cardio exercises as well as strength and conditioning. Aqua Fitness is not just for Nannas! Anyone can come and have a go and we can guarantee a good work out whether your 25 or 75! We can also offer training courses for any aspiring aqua fitness instructors for fantastic prices, with quality training provided by Water Fitness and accredited by CIMSPA.
