About Splash Design BV

When Splash Design was founded – back in 1990 – the company wasn’t bigger than a square metre; it all started in the trunk of a car. Fast forward to 2023, our headquarters in The Netherlands is the heart of the company. It contains 15.000 square metres of warehouse, showrooms and offices for all different departments: purchasing, (after)sales, marketing, design and finance. From picking and packing orders to (un)loading containers and re-stocking the warehouse; 20 warehouse employees “travel” a total distance of 90 kilometres each day. The orders they pick need 16 kilometres of packing tape each month and are currently being shipped to more than 60 countries worldwide from one of our 10 loading docks. We carry out this process for 26 brands in total. Some of these brands are developed in-house like Booster and MACNA, others are imported like HJC, Schuberth and Airoh. The design department consists of 14 designers who are each responsible for different parts of the design process. Some of them design products, others handle the graphic aspects and a few are expert on CE legislation. Together they create what we call riding gear! Aside from the headquarters, we also have two other locations abroad. In 2016, we expanded our presence with a showroom and office in Italy, which acts as the centre for the Italian market. In 2018 we expanded once again, this time to Portugal. This location will be the central point for all matters regarding Spain, Portugal and France. In 2022, MACNA also expanded to Italy. The MACNA Vantage Point (MVP) in Molvena is a multifunctional centre for development, testing and production of leather racing suits. It will also function as central point for race support during the season. This season we have a total of 8 MACNA riders competing in the Moto2, Moto3 and MotoE world championships.
