About Split Perspectivz T/A The Builder Book UK Project
A social business dedicated to providing exciting children's content, events, campaigns, workshops and resources across the Merseyside region and beyond. Split Perspectivz CIC is the home of the Builder Book UK project, which delivers tens of thousands of 'Imagination Boxes' to families across the Liverpool City Region each year, containing books, maps, games, stationery, activity books and competitions featuring the well-loved Builder Bug characters Bob, Barbara, Bilal, Barry, Binita and Booksy, the project's loveable mascot. Each year, the project chooses an important local theme and explores it through storytelling, papercraft and now, a variety of digital mediums. Our past themes have included Feelings, Family, Fun, Diversity, and Unity, and this year's theme looks at The United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals and how they relate to our City. Within each box or pack, there is a competition which allows children to react to the content via art, poetry and craft. We display all entries we receive in an iconic City building each year, together with prize-giving and exhibitions. This is hugely empowering for young children and their families. We work with a large volunteer base to allow us to put on Wow factor events for families and to assemble our many packs and boxes each year. We are always looking for volunteers to join our growing family to help ensure that every child has the same chance in life. That all starts with fair, quality access to education and creative resources. Via our giant den-building workshops, we explore role play and ask children to imagine stepping into the shoes of other people to try different roles and experiences. This instil confidence in children and a feeling of responsibility. Each child who passes through our workshop earns a certificate. We're always finding new ways to interact with young people and welcome help and support from organisations and individuals across the City. Why not sponsor us?
