Sport Aberdeen is a registered charity, which delivers sport and physical activity on behalf of Aberdeen City Council. The largest third sector organisation of its kind in the North-East, Sport Aberdeen is committed to creating opportunities, inspiring people and changing lives through sport and physical activity. This ethos is echoed throughout the organisation with the main objective to increase participation in sport and physical activity in the area, regardless of barriers such as cost, age, ability and gender. In addition to its wide range of venues including swimming pools, sports centres and golf courses, Sport Aberdeen works in partnership with a number of leading organisations to deliver targeted programmes across the city.
