The idea of SportaFence came about when company owners, Joan Drayton and Dan Gentry, were working on a multi-use synthetic turf Sports complex for the City of Woodland, California. The first phase of the facility included four lighted synthetic turf combination softball/soccer fields, and a dedicated lighted synthetic soccer field. A broad search was conducted for a fencing system that could be used on a multi-purpose synthetic turf field as well as a product that could serve other recreational purposes. Not able to find anything, S&S Fence, a reputable fence contractor in Sacramento, was awarded a contract to create the solution. SportaFence is a patent-pending product which was developed and created by S&S Fence. SportaFence is excited about the opportunity of making this unique product available to other communities.
