About SportInspired

SportInspired exists so that every child, regardless of background or ability, can develop the confidence and courage to follow their dreams. To achieve this vision, we deliver fun, inclusive, innovative, and impactful community programmes called the SportInspired Games. These bring together key local community stakeholders to achieve a shared common purpose: to help children, young people, and their communities overcome the barriers caused by poverty through the power of sport + play. Active, healthy children, surrounded by connected communities reap enormous benefits. These include greater ambition, improved academic ability, less anti-social behaviour, and an overall happier, healthier life. Central to achieving our goal are the corporations who support us by supplying employee volunteers and funding to plan and run our programmes. It is a mutually beneficial situation, as employees emerge from their games experience re-enthused with their roles, reconnected to their co-workers, and having improved their management skills. Corporations develop stronger local connections and are seen to be giving something back to the communities that surround them.
