Our mission is to showcase the rich athletic heritage, academic excellence, and cultural significance of these institutions through various initiatives, including the highly anticipated HBCU Football Classic. Established in 2022, Sports Eleven 05 was born out of a passion for HBCUs and a desire to highlight their outstanding contributions to the world of sports. The inaugural game took place in September 2022 at the iconic MetLife Stadium, and it was an electrifying celebration of talent, tradition, and unity. The Classic not only showcases the exceptional skills of HBCU football players but also serves as a platform to raise awareness about the unique educational opportunities provided by HBCUs.
