SportsUnite is a social startup (currently free mobile application, available on ‘App Store’ and ‘Google Play’), which intends to address the communal withdrawal in the UAE which we recognised when growing up in Dubai. This is achieved by facilitating the organisation of informal participation in a multitude of grassroots sports across the country, fostering inclusivity and societal cohesion. As per the National Sports Strategy 2031, the UAE aims “to raise participation rate of individuals in diverse sports to 71%”. We aim to help to “provide a positive attractive environment that enables youth to develop physical and mental abilities and utilise free time.”
