About SquashBusters
SquashBusters is a sports-based youth development program located in Boston and Lawrence, Massachusetts and Providence, Rhode Island. We use the sport of squash, along with academic support and enrichment, community service, and college mentoring, to improve the lives of our youth. Since its inception in 1996, SquashBusters has served more than 700 young people. Through its unique model, SquashBusters transforms the lives of its students and the communities in which they live. SquashBusters’ incredible success has served as the catalyst and program model for an international movement that is improving the lives of thousands of urban youth in more than 20 cities worldwide, including New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland, Oakland, Toronto and Johannesburg. These programs have collectively served more than 2,500 students and boast an average college enrollment rate of 95%.
