About Squaw Valley Academy
Located near Lake Tahoe, in California, Squaw Valley Academy is an international, college-prep boarding school for co-ed students in grades 9-12. We provide rigorous academics coupled with life-long sports and adventure to provide students the foundations for personal and academic success. Our graduates maintain 100% College and University Acceptance, and average 3 college acceptances each. Our campus is set on 2.8 acres and backs to the Tahoe National Forest. Students reside in one of three on-campus, adult-supervised dormitories. Our campus is six miles from Lake Tahoe and the closest major city is Reno, Nevada which is 40 miles from our campus. Our school arranges transportation for all student arriving/departing Reno-Tahoe International Airport. Just two miles from our campus is world-renown ski resort, Squaw Valley USA, home of the 1960 Winter Olympics. During the winter season, students who met or exceed our academic standards may ski or snowboard daily at Squaw Valley Academy. We offer Rolling Enrollment, and students may attend for a full-year, a single semester, or one or both summer sessions.
