SRAPPA is one of six regional organizations dedicated to the operation of buildings on campuses of higher education. SRAPPA consists of members from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the Mexican states of Campeche, Chiapas, Oaxaca, Quintana Roo, Tabasco, and Yucatan. APPA Formerly known as the Association of Physical Plant Administrators, APPA promotes leadership in educational facilities for professionals seeking to build their careers, transform their institutions, and elevate the value and recognition of the built environment in education. Founded in 1914, APPA provides members the opportunity to explore trends, issues, and best practices in educational facilities through research, publications, professional development, standards development, and credentialing. APPA is the association of choice for ore than 13,000 educational facilities professionals at more than 1,500 learning institutions throughout the United States, Canada, and abroad.
