About St. Catherine's Moorlands School
St Catherine's Moorlands School is a private school located in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It has two sites, one in Belgrano R and another in Tortuguitas, Partido de Pilar. The school was founded more than 60 years ago to provide an education of excellence based on the British system to girls aged 5 to 18 years. Today, both sites provide bilingual education (Spanish and English) to children from 2 to 18 years old and follow the programs of the Argentine National Curriculum and the International Baccalaureate (IBO) curricula. Students also prepare to take Cambridge English exams and oral examinations from the International School Association (ISA). In both primary and secondary school, exams are given to receive the DELF diploma of French Language Studies awarded by the French Ministry of Education. Chinese language is dictated as an extra curricular activity in Pilar and as an opcional curricular subject in Belgrado. St Catherine’s Moorlands has a strong commitment to excellence in education, encouraging an atmosphere for students to develop both as individuals and as members of our community. Through the acquisition of skills which favour communication and a holistic approach which enables a transfer of knowledge, St. Catherine’s Moorlands is set on confronting its students with an intellectual challenge.
