About St Edmund's College Ipswich
We are a Catholic boys secondary College founded in the tradition of Blessed Edmund Rice proudly serving the Ipswich community since 1892. The College offers a rich and varied curriculum, as well as an extensive co-curricular program to allow each and every Eddies Man to reach their full potential. St Edmund’s College proudly offers a modern education for the young men of Ipswich and the wider region. As a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice Tradition, our faith plays an important part in the life of the College. From the classroom to beyond, Eddies Men are inspired to build an inclusive community through the service and social justice opportunities at the College. St Edmund’s College offers a state-of-the-art Trade Training Centre and Industrial Design Facility for students who wish to enter into a trade after they graduate. The College has metal workshops, woodwork shops and one large working compound. Our partnership with local businesses allows many of our students to enter into a trade during their studies. St Edmund’s College has a proud tradition of being a leading school in boys’ education.
