About St. George Academy

St. George Academy is atuition-free, charterhigh schoolin Washington Fields, serving grades 8-12. SGA offers a college preparatory education to our students in a unique learning environment. Our faculty, staff, and administration know that an education is more than facts and standardized tests. We offer accelerated programs in Math, Science, and Language Arts for all of our students.We emphasize Honors, Advanced Placement and Concurrent Enrollment for all of our students. STEM opportunities include VEX robotics and computer science. The mission of St. George Academy is to provide our students with a strong academic foundation that prepares them for a successful university experience and their future learning endeavors. St George Academy will comprehensively prepare students for a demanding college experience through an academically rigorous high school education. We will provide our students more, and advanced, educational challenges in pursuit of their academic and life goals. At St. George Academy, we believe that the true value of education is its power to transform the individual and to provide them the knowledge to understand the world around them. St. George Academy provides a safe environment for students in 8th-12 grade. Students learn in an environment with highly qualified teachers who engage students in an active learning environment. St. George Academy’s facilities are designed to imitate a higher education campus where students walk outside and classroom space is designed for multiple uses. All of the classrooms have large windows and natural light.
