About St. Joseph Academy
Our school’s sponsoring organization, the Felician Sisters, has been a champion of compassionate care in the Milwaukee community since 1907. In the early years, the Sisters offered their services through an orphanage created to provide a home for children whose parents were deceased or needed childcare while their parents worked. Over time, our services have grown and expanded to meet the changing needs of our families. In the 1960s, in response to the increasing number of working families in our area, the Sisters received a license to operate a daycare center. In 1999 we moved to our current site and expanded our service offerings to include infants. Today, we provide care and education for children from the age of six weeks through eighth grade. St. Joseph Academy is a Catholic educational organization sponsored by the Felician Sisters. Our mission is to educate children to be successful, lifelong learners and problem solvers. As always, we are in tune with and responsive to the needs of our community and pleased to be your continued partner in providing exceptional care for your children.
