About St. Louis Breastfeeding Coalition
St. Louis Breastfeeding Coalition is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization coalescing and serving breastfeeding families, health care providers, organizations, employers, and advocates to promote, protect, and support breastfeeding in the St. Louis area. Founded in 1989, we have meetings 5 times per year and have committees that work to address various breastfeeding issues in our area. Our mission is to help people learn about the benefits and management of breastfeeding, reduce the barriers to breastfeeding, and to give support to breastfeeding as the cultural norm. STLBFC partners with the Missouri Breastfeeding Coalition and the United States Breastfeeding Committee in our common missions and work. Mission STLBFC is a group of health care professionals and other concerned citizens from our community who have the common goals of helping people to: learn about the benefits and management of breastfeeding, reduce barriers to breastfeeding, and give support to breastfeeding as a cultural norm. Objectives STLBFC supports the breastfeeding objectives of the nation as reachable for our community.
