About St. Louis Old Boys' Association (SLOBA)
St. Louis Old Boys’ Association (SLOBA) was founded in 1961 by Reverend Father John Foster and a group of dedicated alumni, with Mr. Andrew P. S. Wong (Class of 1959) serving as its first president. Initially focusing on annual gatherings and community bonding, SLOBA evolved to take on educational and social missions. After a brief hiatus in the 1970s, it was reorganized under Mr. Winston K. S. Chu’s leadership, launching impactful initiatives like the Study Room Scheme and the founding of the St. Louis Youth Club in 1972. This club has since supported thousands of youth, including those with physical and mental disabilities, through training and outreach. Guided by successive presidents and the invaluable support of Reverend Father Patrick Deane, SLOBA continues to strengthen alumni ties and serve the wider community.
