About St Mark's National Theological Centre
St Mark’s is a scholarly Christian theological community serving Australian society since 1957. St Mark’s has been a partner in the School of Theology at Charles Sturt University (CSU) since 1996. Through this association, St Mark’s offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in theology, ministry, and pastoral counselling. We also specialise in the formation and training of priests and deacons for the Anglican Church. Our students come from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, countries, and convictions, creating a rich and vibrant educational environment. Our students and lecturers also come from all stripes of Christianity —Anglicans, Baptists, Catholics, Evangelicals, non-denominational and independents, and more. Many are already in ministry, just starting out, or working in corporate or para-church organisations. We love the diversity, and welcome the dialogue. Our courses are delivered primarily online, offering students a flexible learning environment for busy lives. In fact, St Mark’s, through its partnership with Charles Sturt University, is one of the most experienced educational institutions in Australia to offer theological and ministry studies online. Many of our courses also offer face-to-face learning opportunities, either through a blend of classroom and online learning or through short bursts of intensives.
