About St Michael's Hospice (Hastings and Rother)
We support and enable the community of Hastings and Rother to live well with dying, death and loss. We identify what matters most to patients and families, what’s making life difficult for them, including worries and concerns. We then create a care and support plan that can be adapted when things change. Our services are provided via in-patient beds and at home and we also offer Wellbeing support, both out-patient and virtual. Expert bereavement support is available for anyone struggling to come to terms with the death of a loved one. We also recognise the community’s role in supporting those nearing the end of life and will play our part in building supportive neighbourhood networks via our compassionate communities work. We have a variety of roles across a diverse range of professions throughout our Hospice.
