About St Oswald's Hospice
We’re a charitable hospice rooted in the North East. We provide outstanding, specialist and expert care to adults and children with life-limiting conditions. We strive to provide Quality time for everyone. We rely on the generosity of local businesses, individuals, groups and companies to enable us to care for local people, when they need us most. Last year, we needed around £16 million to continue providing our services, of which just £6m of this was provided by statutory authorities such as NHS and local councils to provide our charitable care services. The remaining £10 million had to be raised through voluntary giving. We make no charge to the user for any of our services, ensuring hospice care is available to everyone.
