About St. Paul Lutheran Church and School, Grafton, WI
St. Paul Lutheran Church is a congregation of approximately 2500 members located in Grafton, Wisconsin. We are a member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. The founders of St. Paul congregation were German immigrants. One of them, Mr. Karl Zeige, is known to have been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in downtown Milwaukee. After moving to Grafton in 1851, he asked his pastor, The Rev. Friedrich Lochner, to come to Grafton to conduct services. St. Paul's first constitution was signed on July 28, 1851 by nine men. The congregation joined the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in 1853. St. Paul Lutheran School exists to shape lives for Christian service by providing educational excellence in a Christ-centered environment. In 2015, we started the 163rd year of faith-based Christian education at St. Paul Lutheran School. St. Paul has served the city of Grafton and Ozaukee County with a quality faith based education, preparing children for success in high school and beyond.
