Founded in 1953, this city school set on a 105-hectare estate has retained a country atmosphere and yet remains at the cutting edge of educational thinking in South Africa. Kamoka Bush School, located outside Modimolle in Limpopo Province is our residential outdoor education facility on a game farm, where our girls and boys grow and develop through a curriculum of experiential learning and leadership. The Thandulwazi Maths and Science Academy runs an enrichment programme for up to 1 100 students and 1 200 teachers from schools in greater Johannesburg. In addition, St Stithians employs over 50 teacher interns – a contribution to creating the next generation of teachers in South Africa.
