About Stage One Goaltending
Stage One Goaltending provides a variety of Goaltending Development services to goaltenders in the Greater Vancouver area. We operate under the development philosophy that a slow, methodical, and theory based approach to goaltending provides the appropriate learning environment for students to reach their full potential. While there exists a common network of skills a goaltender must possess, we teach to the individual needs of our students, and aim to do so in an encouraging nature. Our goaltenders are taught the value of foundational skating techniques, and as such, many of our sessions are oriented towards edge & balance control. We strongly believe that efficient skating leads to effective results.
