About stageGR

The purpose of stageGR is to provide a space where students gain confidence, make friends, and discover their talents on the stage or behind the scenes, and to foster a community that unites in celebration of the developed skills of a diverse group providing quality entertainment. Core values include: 1. Inclusion - We believe that every voice should be heard, every face should see the spotlight, and every pair of feet should have an opportunity to dance on center stage. We will always welcome and include every student, so long as they maintain a positive attitude and a willingness to learn! 2. Opportunity - We believe in an open door. We strive to break down barriers and make the seemingly impossible possible. We believe in the intrinsic value, dignity, and capability of every student who passes through our doors. 3. Daring Greatly - We believe in vulnerability and courage. We believe in these words [from Brene Brown]: “True belonging only happens when we present our authentic, imperfect selves to the world; our sense of belonging can never be greater than our level of selfacceptance.” 4.Diversity - We believe students learn the most from friends who think and look different from them. We believe there is beauty in diversity, and boringness where diversity lacks. 5. Strive for Excellence - We believe any stage production worth doing, is worth doing to the utmost levels of quality and professionalism
