About STAGEtwo Productions

Incorporated in 2018, STAGEtwo Productions is a community theatre organization based in Evansville, IN. We produce a slate of 6-10 productions a year in which local artists participate through a myriad of services/positions including (but not limited to) acting, singing, dancing, directing, graphic arts, arts management as well as technical positions for lighting, sound, and stage design and much more. Through these productions, we not only offer opportunities for artists to share their work, but we also provide opportunities for budding artists to train with seasoned veterans to learn the craft. We also offer a vibrant Summer Playwriting Workshop led by an award-winning playwright and produce at least one of the scripts begun during that workshop. Although we do charge for admission to our shows, we open our doors to anyone in need. Our community knows that if they want to see a show or be a part of an event, they can always come to us for financial or other assistance. We frequently work with artists to manage transportation and other operational needs and costs, as well as keeping our educational workshops at a low cost and even offering scholarships to those who need them. In addition, we offer a venue for rent (STAGEtwo@321) for performances, parties, or other gatherings. As a nonprofit, STAGEtwo is operated entirely by volunteers—including our board of directors.
