Its wide product range, varied product form (round bar, flat bar, tube, strip, sheet, powder) and global distribution network ensure it is ideally positioned to support high value applications requiring technical excellence, and in particular those found in the Medical, Micro-electronic and Aerospace fields. Stainless came into being in Paris in 1928. Its founder was one of the first importers of the then new steel, highly alloyed with chromium, that did not rust and was originally named “rustless” and then renamed “stainless” and at that time was being produced in the industrial north of England. Nearly a century later, Stainless continues to specialise in the distribution of high performance alloys. Today its large range of products is distributed throughout the world from its platform in Dannemarie-sur-Crète, in the Burgundy Franche-Comté region, where the Head Office is also located.
