About Stand & Be Counted

Hi! My name is Stephen (although most people call me Dows). I have worked in the charitable sector and Students' Unions for over ten years. Working in both the private and third sector have helped train and develop hundred's of people in skills around leadership, facilitation, public speaking and campaigning. Along with that I have spent most of my career working to improve democracy and governance in charities and membership organisations. I want to help more people be the change they want to see in the world. Which is why I created Stand & Be Counted. I do training and consultancy for organisations on areas such as Public Speaking, Campaigns, Democracy and Governance. I am also available as a host and compere for live events and functions.
