About Stand Tall Strength and Wellbeing

Unfortunately, we all know too well the strains and demands of our complex world of uncertainty. In particular the impact on our community’s mental health, especially the suffering and the loss of our sons, brothers and fathers. We are 2 local dads (one a mental health nurse the other a Crossfit and weightlifting enthusiast) who want to leave a meaningful mark on the community we love. We wanted to do something to alleviate the suffering. We had a completely unoriginal idea that turns out to be pretty unique; a hands-on approach to help guys in our community to look after both their mind and body. We do this through delivery of unique interventions to develop ambassadors, of both physical and mental well-being. This is why we set up Stand Tall; a not-for-profit whose core values are, connection, resilience and growth. We are currently offering our Strength and Wellbeing Course. Our bespoke approach for men struggling with aspects of their mental health. Our course provides a physical and mental element; introduction to Olympic lifting for all abilities and wellbeing workshops on a range of topics from sleep to anxiety. We hope to offer a lot more to alleviate the suffering our sons, brothers and fathers.
