We were born with a purpose! To create a connection between people and the Amazon rainforest. Through organic food derived from a process of sustainable extractivism, we guarantee a decent source of income for hundreds of collaborators, involved in all the production chains, from the collection in the forest to the delivery at your home or store. Yes, it is possible to coexist and generate income through conscious and sustainable management of the resources of the Amazon rainforest and of any other biome. Through the processing of the Brazil nut as it is known worldwide, we have developed a project that aims at the reforestation of areas that suffer from deforestation and environmental degradation. Altogether, the Standing Forest has already planted more than 13,000 seedlings native to the Amazon rainforest, in addition to nurseries for production that total more than 15,000 seedlings being cultivated for introduction into the forest. That's right, besides the whole process of sustainable extraction that aims to extract resources consciously, such as collecting only the hedgehogs (fruits of the nut) that are on the ground and among these fruits only a percentage. Keeping a good part of the fruits on the ground so that they can serve as food for animals and ensure the maintenance of local flora and fauna. The Standing Forest also plants trees! As a way to stop the negative effects caused to the Amazon forest by others.
