The mission of Stanford Continuing Studies is to share the rich educational resources of Stanford University with adult students, to nurture a vibrant learning community, to nourish the life of the mind, and to promote the pleasures of intellectual exploration and exchange. Stanford Continuing Studies invites you to join our open learning community. Each year, more than 17,000 lifelong learners take our courses in order to enrich their intellectual and professional lives. We are currently offering both on-campus and online courses. Most courses are five to ten weeks long, and weekend workshops are also available. Courses are offered in all four academic quarters: Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer.
