About Starfyn Recruitment
*The Home of Starfyn Education* Starfyn Recruitment was founded at the end of 2020 by husband and wife team James & Vicky Biss. The world was coming out of lockdown and starting to return to ‘normal’, it was during these lockdowns that they decided to start an agency focussed on supporting Special Needs Schools, Colleges and Alternative Provisions; As such Starfyn Recruitment was born. With over 25 years’ experience working in the recruitment and sales sectors; with some of the country’s largest corporations, they felt the time was right to offer their recruitment expertise. Vicky and James met working at a recruitment agency in London and married in March 2020. They swapped their home in Southwest London for the beautiful countryside of Hampshire. Since getting married they have grown their family and now have a son and daughter – and also a cocker spaniel dog – Winnie. We are a family owned and run agency, it is this that we believe makes us stand out in a sector that is dominated by large corporations charging high fees and lacking in a personal service. We partner with Schools, Colleges and Alternative Provisions helping them recruit suitable and qualified Special Educational Needs (SEN) staff. By specialising in SEN Recruitment and partnering with our clients, we have been able to create lasting relationships built on trust, honesty and transparency. The Starfyn Team is growing and we now have a team of 11 covering London, Surrey and Hampshire.
