Starlim is one of the world’s largest liquid silicone injection molders and manufacturer, serving as an industry leader in the mass production of small silicone parts. As one team of an international group of companies, we produce billions of silicone parts every year through the use of one-component and multicomponent technology. We focus on the mass production of silicone parts for various industries and applications, with specialization in the mobility, life sciences and industrial sector. Our parts can be found in medical devices, cars and homes – often visible, but sometimes out of sight. Product Development – With our extensive material and process knowledge about silicone, we work closely with our customers to transform their product ideas into reality. After understanding our customers’ requirements we transition from the design to construction phase utilizing state-of-the-art design simulations and testing protocols. We seamlessly move from design to prototype and then to serial production all with a coordinated team effort between Starlim and our customers. Micro Molding – For silicone parts under 10 mg, we offer high precision undercuts and depressions, single and multi-component molding, part removal using a handling robot, in-process optical quality monitoring, aligned parts tray, and automatic parts packaging. Clean Room – These controlled environments enable the production, packaging, postcuring and washing of parts with a high level of purity and cleanliness. Our clean rooms manufacture silicone and two-component parts for the life sciences sector, but also used to produce small parts for the mobility industry. Production – Manufacturing single component and multi-component parts with silicone in a fully automatic injection molding process, utilizing leading edge technology that meets the highest industry standards.
