About Starlings Inspire

Starlings Inspire is the only non-profit volleyball club in Rhode Island that serves teens from underrepresented communities in Pawtucket, Central Falls, and Providence by making club volleyball affordable and accessible. No student is turned away for financial reasons. The mission of the program is to inspire student-athletes to reach their full potential on the volleyball court, in the classroom, and in the community. Through volleyball, players improve their self-esteem, communication skills, and learn what it takes to be a leader. Being a supportive teammate, having positive sportsmanship, and giving a 100% effort are emphasized over winning. The players, coaches, and board of directors of Starlings Inspire reflect the diversity of the communities the club serves. Coaches are selected for their mentoring skills as much as their volleyball expertise. Starlings Inspire teams compete in the New England Region of USA Volleyball. The club was established in December of 2020 as an affiliate club of Starlings Volleyball USA.
