Hi! My name is Kelsey! I am a fully-licensed therapist who loves working with people with eating disorders, body image issues, OCD, anxiety, childhood sexual abuse, trauma, life transitions, and relationship concerns. At State of Grace Counseling Services, I am dedicated to providing a safe and compassionate space for individuals to explore their mental health, eating disorder, and trauma recovery needs. My mission is to empower clients and their families to overcome challenges, build fulfilling relationships, and increase happiness and meaning in life. I have worked in the eating disorder space for more than 6 years, including being the Clinical Director of an eating disorder program. I believe in a holistic approach to therapy, addressing the emotional, psychological, spiritual, and relational aspects of clients' lives. My therapeutic interventions are evidence-based and tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual and family I serve. I practice from a non-diet, weight inclusive perspective. I utilize relational, psychodynamic, and DBT principles in my practice. I am also trained and certified in EMDR. At State of Grace Counseling Services, I value empathy, respect, and, of course, grace. I strive to create a non-judgmental and inclusive environment where every client feels heard, understood, and supported. I practice from a faith-based perspective, rooted in a strong, loving relationship with Christ, for clients who are interested in incorporating faith into their healing journey.
