Stavanger Indie is a grassroots film festival and independent film production company based in Stavanger, Norway. We host an annual two-day festival showcasing bold, personal films from around the world—featuring short and feature-length screenings, filmmaker Q&As, networking events, and custom-designed awards. Our goal is to support risk-taking cinema and foster a more inclusive, encouraging filmmaking culture in Stavanger and beyond. In addition to the festival, Stavanger Indie is developing as a production company, supporting the creation of independent films through collaboration, creative freedom, and a strong community spirit.
