Welcome to Stavian – we are a provider of highly specialist services in head injury, case management, community rehabilitation and challenging behaviour. Stavian was formed by experienced clinicians with the aim of providing high quality community rehabilitation and for people with severe head injuries. Our philosophy is that successful rehabilitation takes place in a person's everyday environment and is relevant to their everyday life. The challenge is to actively support people to do the 'simple things in life' when those simple things have become difficult to do. Head injury rehabilitation is about reaching and maintaining optimum physical, intellectual, psychological and social functioning. It is about providing the right 'tools' and support so that each person can maximise their independence and self-determination. We provide focused, value for money services that are reliable and responsive to each person’s needs and preferences. Case Management - provides a constant point of contact for people with head injuries who require a complex range of services and / or require intensive levels of support either on an ongoing, short-term or episodic basis. Stavian's Case Management works with, and for, the individual by enhancing their independence and control. Community Rehabilitation - uses Positive Behaviour Support, Life-Coaching and active rehabilitation as a different ways of supporting people with head injuries to live their lives in meaningful ways, dependent upon the issues they experience. We use a lifelong community rehabilitation process that focuses on independence and self-determination. Life Coaching - is all about YOU and what you wish to achieve in your life. Life Coaching reminds you of your strengths, helps you to feel better about yourself and gives you valuable feedback on your thoughts and behaviour to support you in moving forward. The focus is on positive change: stating this is where I am now, but what do I want next?
