Founded in 1963, Hong Kong Standards and Testing Centre (STC) is the first independent, not-for-profit, testing, inspection and certification organization in Hong Kong. STC, operating in various parts of the world, services a diverse cross-section of industries. STC is recognized by many national and international organizations and accreditation bodies and is keeping abreast with the latest technology and standards to support their clients´ product development. STC can test and certify most products in its modern laboratories to make sure that they meet the essential safety, quality, reliability and performance requirements. STC´s qualified inspectors can verify a manufacturing facility´s capability, inspect products at the factory before shipment and certify manufactured goods are compliant with specifications. STC´s experienced professionals can advise manufacturers and trading organizations on how to improve their products and achieve international quality. STC is the only CB laboratory in Hong Kong under the National Certification Body of China. We are the first laboratory in Hong Kong accredited respectively by China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Deutsche Akkreditierungstelle (DakkS). STC is also the sole provider of complete audio / visual electromagnetic compatibility testing and HOKLAS-accredited condom testing. In 2012, STC has become the first CCC testing laboratory in Hong Kong. STC was founded in Hong Kong and today, it is a global conformity assessment organization operating also in Dongguan, Shanghai, Changzhou, Guangxi, Vietnam, Japan, Germany, and the United States.
