WHERE WE COME FROM Ste Industries has inherited 40 years of experience and expertise in designing and delivering hardware for data transmission from STE, an Italian-based company founded in 1968; it is its natural evolution, bringing its distinctive capability and technology into IoT. New investors and managers saw this opportunity and joined Ste Industries in 2016, giving it all the resources it needs to support a new, ambitious program of growth. Our patented ultra-low energy, unidirectional, short-range communication protocol is the result of years of commitment and expertise in the field. OUR PROPRIETARY TECHNOLOGY: THE MICRO.SP® TECHNOLOGY Micro.sp® technology, patented by Ste Industries, is based on short RF pulses transmitted using Pulse Position Modulation (PPM), which guarantees high RF peak power, required for radio link reliability, but with very low average power (Power Density) and consequently low current absorption during the transmission period. Micro.sp® is recognized as a key enabling technology for short range communication systems. The Micro.sp® transmitter enables the delivery of innovative applications because of its compact design, unique wireless protocol, and ultra-low power communication system. With Micro.sp® technology, it is possible to convert cabled sensors for use in wireless applications, among other options. Micro.sp® broadens expectations to possibilities that were previously unthinkable or economically unfeasible.
