About STEAM the Streets

STEAM the Streets helps young people see themselves in STEAM career paths through engaging content and dynamic outreach that meets youth where they're at. STS motivates and catalyzes under-connected youth to pursue 21st century career pathways through innovative and culturally relevant youth engagement platforms. We envision a diverse and inclusive workforce that powers our economy with its unique voice, creativity, and skill. We have served more than 16,000 youth directly through in-school and out of school career engagement programs, and more than one million indirectly through video campaigns since 2016. Our founding team has been at the intersection of youth development, content production and community engagement since 1998. Through storytelling, culturally relevant content, and motivational words, we translate lesser known high growth career opportunities into approachable avenues for youth to pursue. We specialize in bringing life to STE(A)M careers and sparking interest, awareness, and engagement through our artistic approach.
