The STEM Montessori Academy of Canada/STEM International Academy of Canada (SMAC-SIAC) is a regional STEM program open to all students with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application. Our STEM program is the first of its kind in Canada and seeks to educate students from preschool to grade 12 (2.5 years of age to 18 years of age). SMAC-SIAC specializes in an advanced, bar-none, STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math. Our mission and focus is to help each child achieve academic excellence, master self-learning skills, and develop equal character while fostering self-discipline, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in a STEM-based learning environment. Students enrolled in the leadership program will be exposed to unique national and international STEM opportunities by way of mentorship from STEM professionals, scholarships, peer interactions, training, and workshops. Our aim is to prepare children for future technological changes and innovations, where resources are not easily accessible in order for them to become globally competitive.
