About Stepping in the Gap

Who we are: Stepping in the Gap LLC is a purpose driven company that provides programs and services to support the personal development of youth. Our mission is to empower educators, parents/guardians, and youth by providing training, coaching and support services intended to inspire and encourage youth to maximize their full potential. We believe in the mantra, ‘it takes a village to raise a child’ so we are always seeking opportunities to support the building of a strong community, which is essential to a youth’s success. Our approach: SitG believes comfort and growth don’t go together so we challenge traditional thinking and push all of our clients to find comfort in trying new things, which is in the best interest of the youth. We believe in building relationships and trust before applying rules. We approach each youth like a coach and focus on future goals and less on past mistakes. SitG understands there is no cookie cutter approach to dealing with youth. However, we do believe that any services provided to the youth directly without considering his/her community is a band-aid solution that won’t last. Who we serve: Stepping in the Gap LLC serves boys, and girls ages 13-18, who live in Hillsborough County and enrolled in school. Who we partner with: We partner with all agencies serving kids and look for strategic partnerships with businesses, organizations and individuals that have purpose driven missions and/or have services that could benefit the youth we serve.
