About Steps4Smiles
We are a group of high school student-athletes looking to use our love of running to put a smile on as many faces as possible. Standing for, Supporting Malnourished Individuals Looking for Equity, we believe that by bringing a community together, there is no issue that can’t be solved. We strive to gather our community for a charitable event, like our 5k/10k race, and raise money for one of the most prevalent problems in society today: hunger and food insecurity. By providing racers with the chance to set new personal records, or just enjoy an evening run with friends and family, and raising money to support less fortunate people in the process, we hope our event leaves everyone with a big smile.
