The result is long-term corporate growth and sustained stakeholder value. Brief History Sterilucent was founded in 2004 with initial funding from the National Institute of Health (NIH) to work on its innovations in low temperature sterilization. Additional interest in the technology from the Department of Defense (DoD) and continued support from NIH and Angel Investors provided additional funding to allow Sterilucent to complete development of two sterilization hydrogen peroxide sterilization systems. The initial systems was designed to support medical facilities in austere environments such as combat support hospitals, in their mission to deliver safe, quality care to wounded service members. Since then Sterilucent has leveraged the technology developed for the military and focused our efforts on developing sterilizers with enhanced features for hospitals and clinics in the commercial healthcare market.
