Founded in 1948, Sterling Food Service is a wholesale food distributor and fresh meat processor with delivery service within the state of Arizona. Sterling has evolved from a retail butcher shop in downtown Phoenix to a third generation family business now distributing over 1,000 food items throughout Arizona. Our customers range from fine dining restaurants to casual quick service establishments as well as hotels, resorts, healthcare centers, and retail grocers. Sterling's forte since inception remains satisfying our customers "center of the plate" needs with USDA graded meats, poultry, and seafood. We tout a highly skilled staff of portion control meat cutters and processors with decades of experience allowing us to meet the specific needs of our customers. Our product offerings have evolved over time to meet the needs of an increasingly health conscience consumer. Backed by our lead brand, Niman Ranch, Sterling supplies a number of all natural and organic product lines that are produced in an environmentally friendly, humane, and sustainable manner. As of 2018, Sterling is also an officially licensed distributor of Certified Angus Beef; the world's first premium brand of beef providing superior flavor, every time. Our consistency in quality, delivery service, product expertise, and responsiveness to our customers' needs have all contributed to Sterling's success and allowed us to prosper for seven decades.
