About Stern Business Academy
The inaugural Stern Business Academy (SBA) is an organization for Black, Latinx, and Indigenous students, designed to build professional networks, relationships, and foundations for a successful career. We provide enriching and engaging education through our professional development and career exploration sessions. Our professional development sessions will teach students about foundational career resources such as resumes, interviews (behavioral, technical, and case), and LinkedIn profiles, through an informational presentation and engaging activity. Our career exploration sessions aim to expose our students to various career paths by connecting them with employees from top firms who explain what their firm is best known for and what their specific role looks like. With dedication and commitment, our resources will likely result in internships, full-time jobs, and professional success, which is our ultimate goal. Results aren’t a dream for the academy; they’re a reality. The SBA is revolutionizing the way minority students think about their past, present, and potential; for them, this is just the beginning.
