Since 1994, Stevens & Associates has been a trusted provider of engineering services throughout Brattleboro, VT and the surrounding communities. Several years ago, Bob Stevens and his partners enhanced the company by adding a dedicated group of architects. The goal was to create a company that would integrate design disciplines, sustainability and environmental concerns. This unique effort has enabled Stevens & Associates the opportunity to provide both architecture and engineering services from its downtown Brattleboro office. This collaboration of disciplines affords our commercial and residential clients the peace of mind for timely projects with unified coordination to produce successful results. In addition to our unique ability to provide both architectural and engineering services, we specialize in landscape design, historic preservation, real estate development, project funding, as well as, marketing and public campaigns. Our approach to projects is to understand our clients’ needs and identify creative solutions that add value to our clients’ projects. We participate on civic boards and maintain a close professional relationship with regulatory agencies to understand the political and permitting context of our projects. We have systematized our problem solving and project management approach to deliver optimum solutions, cost controls and scheduling efficiency. We specialize in commercial and municipal projects with expertise in schools, affordable housing, senior housing, pedestrian and transportation network improvements, master planning and urban design. We are committed to building sustainable projects through green design and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification. We train our staff to be whole systems thinkers so that we can support our clients’ mission while creating a built environment that promotes economic, environmental and community vitality.
